Children and Family Worker

3 year appointment  -  20 hours per week

 

We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and ideas to develop relationships with the parents and children connected with Northallerton Methodist Church  and to lead and co-ordinate the work of the junior church.

Remuneration will be between £10.00 and £14.00 per hour, plus pension contribution, and be dependent on qualifications and experience. 

Holiday entitlement : 35 days per annum  (pro rata) including bank and public holidays.

Baptism & Under 5s Training events - Ripon Episcopal Area

 

Here are two of your intrepid team discovering new ideas and resources for working with Under 5s, young families and Baptisms. Now those of you in the north of the Diocese can discover these things for yourself too!

For anyone involved in Baptism and all other aspects of Ministry with under 5's and their families.

New Barnabas for Children catalogue published

The lovely people at Bible Reading Fellowship (BRF) have published a new catalogue of resources for work with children, families and churches, under their subsidery name of Barnabas for Children.

Their resourtces include all the Messy Church materials, as well as publications for all aspects of work with children, including schools resources.

Young People: Know how to Support their Mental Health

 

On 13 and 20 June Wellspring Therapy (a Chrisian organisation) are running a FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) course for volunteers working with youth and parents. There are still some spaces available so if you have you been looking for an opportunity to attend a Youth Mental Health First Aid course then this may be your moment!
