Vicar, Revd Danny Hall launched the first night event on Saturday (Oct 1) with a concert by Encore, a 13-strong local group of singers and musicians whose repertoire had something for everyone from musical theatre to full harmonised medleys and some comedy numbers,

The second day welcomed the boys and men of Bradford Cathedral, pictured here, for a beautiful Choral Evensong held in the church on Bradford Road.

Said Danny: “ Our aim is to bring the community together to enjoy some great music, We’ve got a fabulous programme, a real mixture of Christian and secular events and we hope we’ve got something for everyone.”

There’s a film night every Tuesday evening, a music quiz,  Gospel Mass, Songs of Prasie, some special kids events during half term, a show night, karaoke and – the headline act this year - is four singers from Opera North for an evening of opera and classical music.

“There really is something for everyone; I hope it’s the start of something; it’s really exciting,” said Darren.
