Loving, Living, Learning
The work of the social engagement and urban renewal team responds to God's call to love our neighbour, care for creation and enable flourishing communities. We want to see people living together as God intended free from poverty, inequality and injustice.
We work alongside a wide range of groups and organisations helping to build relationships, promote learning and share resources. In particular we work closely with the Church Urban Fund to support Wellsprings Together and Faithful Neighbours.
Places of Welcome
We are very pleased to announce that Places of Welcome was officially launched in the diocese on the 6th July. This is an initiative to establish a network of safe spaces offering unconditional hospitality. If your church would like to open a Place of Welcome and be supported by the network please contact us.
