How we care for and help our young people during this time is a topic of massive importance, and so the diocese is hosting a webinar to meet the people behind our support and resources in this area: our Children, Young People and Families Team.
The Zoom event will be held on Thursday, March 18, at 6pm, and will give people the opportunity to hear about the team’s new training program, resources and more, as well as to ask any questions of our experts about how their church can better support young people.
Liz Morton, Children, Young People and Families Team Leader, said: “The team are really looking forward to being able to share the variety of ways they can support and equip parishes, volunteers and employed workers in their work with Children, Young People and Families.
“We’ve just launched our training programme for the next few months, including sessions to help parishes plan as we move out of lockdown and restrictions, plus opportunities to meet people to share ideas, resources and prayer.”
