Bishops from Leeds stand in solidarity with Jewish community

Following the attack in Golders Green, the bishops of the Diocese of Leeds sent a message of solidarity to the Jewish community across the diocese and beyond.

Their message can be read below.

"We are deeply distressed by the violent act of antisemitism that has taken place today in Golders Green.

"Our prayers are with all those directly and indirectly impacted by this horrific event.

"This is the latest in a series of appalling attacks on London's Jewish community in recent months: we stand in solidarity with the Jewish community in London and with Jewish communities across the Diocese of Leeds and beyond; and affirm once again our commitment to the fundamental right of every person to practice their faith freely, safely, and without fear."
