Bradford Cathedral is delighted to announce the appointment of Dipika Kaushal as its new Chief Operating Officer.
Dipika brings more than twenty-five years of senior leadership experience across the charity and public sectors, most recently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Northorpe Hall Child & Family Trust.
Throughout her career she has led organisations through periods of growth, change and transformation, with particular expertise in governance, organisational development, financial sustainability and partnership working.
The Chief Operating Officer is the Cathedral's senior lay leadership role, responsible for ensuring that the Cathedral's operations, governance, people and resources effectively support its mission, ministry and service to the city.
Commenting on her appointment, Dipika said: “I am truly delighted to be joining Bradford Cathedral as Chief Operating Officer at such an important and pivotal point in its journey.
“It feels especially meaningful to take on this role in my home city of Bradford, a place I care deeply about and where community life is so rich and diverse.
“The Cathedral holds a unique place at the heart of the city—offering welcome, belonging and shared purpose across communities.
“I look forward to listening, learning and working with colleagues, volunteers and partners to strengthen how we work together and build on our shared contribution to this unique city.

Dipika has extensive experience of working across health, social care, charity and community sectors and has held leadership roles at local, regional and national levels.
She has a particular passion for enabling organisations to serve their communities effectively and sustainably.

The appointment comes at an important stage in the Cathedral's development as it continues to strengthen its organisational foundations and deepen its contribution to the spiritual, cultural and civic life of Bradford and the wider region.
Dipika will take up the post on Monday, June 29.
