There’s just one week to go until the Church of England’s RECOGNISE Week, where churches across the country will be celebrating everyone involved in ministry with children, young people and families.
The week runs from Monday, July 6 to Sunday, July 12, which will then be a day for churches nationwide to celebrate and thank those involved in this vital ministry.
The week has been organised by the 30k Project, a national initiative to support children, young people and families ministry by recruiting 27,000 new volunteers and 3,000 new children, young people and families workers, as well as providing new resources.
To get involved in RECOGNISE Week, churches can sign up for a free pack of resources including a cake topper, a prayer card, a set of thank you cards and some creative ideas for events
Churches will also receive access to the RECOGNISE digital resources, when they are released.
There are so many individuals giving tirelessly to nurture the faith of the emerging generations.
Through this event, the Church hopes to create a wave of appreciation and echo our heartfelt thanks across the Church.
