Shipley churches and Wellsprings Together have recently held a Fun Day bringing together people from across the community.
Some 100 people gathered at Windhill playing fields on Thursday, April 9 for a day which included face painting, games, music, cake, BBQ food, breakdancing and a bouncy castle.
There was also professional wrestling from the team at Kingdom Wrestling, and jiu jitsu from the professionals of Blackbelt Mindset.
The day was organised by the churches of Shipley and Wellsprings Together, and hosted by the Revd Natasha Thomas, Vicar at St Peter’s Shipley.
Revd Natasha said: “The Better Together Fun Day was a real success!
“It was a great turnout and such a great day of working together within the heart of the community with Windhill Community Centre, St Peter’s and Christ Church, One in A Million, Kingdom Wrestling, and Blackbelt Mindset/ Jiu Jitsu.
“Better Together indeed!”
