Wakefield Cathedral has opened a not-for-profit café operated by Age UK Wakefield, aimed at providing support for older people in their community.
Vocations Sunday is on Sunday, April 26, and the Diocese of Leeds is supporting the day with resources, an event and a new video.
Wakefield Cathedral welcomed guests from across the city, county and wider Diocese of Leeds on Saturday, March 7 for a joyful service marking the installation of the Very Revd Dr Philip Hobday as Dean of Wakefield.
The Revd Canon Jonathan Triffitt was licensed as Interim Dean of Bradford on Sunday, March 1 by the Rt Revd Toby Howarth, Acting Bishop of Leeds.
Churches from across the diocese will be able to learn about how pilgrimages can help them engage with their communities and beyond at a Pilgrimages Day at Ripon Cathedral on Friday, January 30.
The Diocese of Leeds is pleased to announce that the Revd Canon Jonathan Triffitt has been appointed as Interim Dean of Bradford for a period of three years.
