Generosity Week 2025 runs from Sunday, September 28 to Sunday, October 5, and churches across the diocese are being encouraged to get involved.
Generosity Week is an annual event where churches are invited to explore God’s generosity through eight days of service and worship materials.
Together churches are asked to reflect on God’s generosity and explore how to grow generosity in our churches.
Developing a generous culture is essential for enabling our churches to have a sustainable and growing ministry, and the week is a chance to develop a deeper understanding of God’s generosity and how we can live more generously in our daily lives.
Generosity Week provides an opportunity for churches to focus on giving and generosity, providing ideas and resources to engage the whole church community.
This year the resources include learnings from all the work that is being done by different organisations around generosity and giving, highlights from the Anglican Giving Survey 2025, tips and lessons learned from a variety of churches that have run successful campaigns and helpful materials for preaching on generosity.
The week is book-ended by two Sunday services, focusing on generosity and gratitude.
