Once your parish has registered for the PGS contact your Stewardship team for advice and guidance on how best to promote the scheme across your community.
Consider the suggestions below:
- PCC members sign up to give through the PGS in advance of launching the scheme to their congregants. Your personal experience and endorsement of the PGS will help offer reassurance to others on how well the scheme works.
- Promote the PGS alongside a Giving Programme or during Generosity Week. Introduce the PGS as a new mechanism for giving whilst your congregation is focused on reviewing their giving and the impact of their generosity on mission for greater impact.
- Utilise the free PGS Promotional Resources (see below) to engage people with the PGS and its benefits. A whole host of ready-prepared resources are available including essential “How to Guides”, posters , a newsletter template, video animations and prepared social media content to help you communicate the PGS, how it works and its benefits.
- Direct people straight to your parish page on the PGS website using your bespoke QR code. To find out how to access your QR code and edit your parish page please read How to update your Parish Landing Page
