Churchyard Regulations

In most instances, PCCs are expected to adopt the Churchyard Regulations defined by the Chancellor, though bespoke Regulations can be applied for under faculty (see DAC & Faculties). Churchyard Regulations govern the upkeep of graves and other matters. If you have not done so already, it is advised that you should prominently display these on a visible noticeboard in the churchyard. This avoids potential confusion and future pastoral difficulties as all who wish to tend a grave should be aware of what is and is not allowed, meaning that all mourners and visitors are treated fairly and equally.
