Repairs

Your maintenance inspections or QI report (see Quinquennial Inspections) may identify that some repairs are necessary to prevent further harm to the building or reduce risks to users. Depending on the scope of the repair, the level of permission necessary may vary (see permissions). It is important to ensure that you have the appropriate approval before carrying out any works. If you are unsure, the DAC staff are happy to advise.

Any health and safety issues or security concerns (see Safety & Security) which might affect users of the building should be considered urgent and need to be dealt with promptly by contacting the DAC staff or your Archdeacon and applying for the appropriate permissions as soon as possible. If the DAC staff are not available, you should go directly to the registry.
