Scott Lunn will be serving his curacy, as a part-time SSM, in the Penhill Benefice in Wensleydale. This covers Aysgarth, Castle Bolton, Redmire, Preston-under-Scar, Thornton Rust, West Witton, and Wensley. His curacy follows training for ordination at Cranmer Hall, Durham. Scott's sending church was St Marys, Richmond, where he served as an LLM for over twenty years, and latterly he has served the Jervaulx churches around Middleham. Scott is married to the Rev Gillian who’s in her third year of curacy at Leyburn and Bellerby, and together they have three children, Helen (22), James (20) and Andrew (18). Scott’s quiet times are on his bicycle enjoying the beauty of Wensleydale and Swaledale. During training Scott has spent half his time at college in Durham, half his time on placement, and half his time working as a secondary school teacher, where he teaches Maths!
