Monthly breakfast meetings featuring talks with top business people are drawing good numbers to Holy Trinity, Boar Lane, Leeds.
The Rt Revd Arun Arora, Bishop of Kirkstall has so far held relaxed and informative interviews with Tom Riordan, former Chief Executive of Leeds City Council and Clare Morrows, Chair of famous Yorkshire businesses Betty’s and Taylors of Harrogate.
“We started the breakfasts with Tom Riordan in September and that attracted some 60 guests – which was great!” said Holy Trinity’s vicar, Revd Josh Lees.
The early morning events are held on every second Tuesday of the month and start with breakfast from 7.30am, with the talks starting at 8am.
Leeds Rhinos legend Jamie Jones-Buchanan MBE is the next guest on Tuesday, November 12.
Jamie enjoyed a twenty-year career as a player at Leeds Rhinos, enjoying unparalleled success as part of the “Golden Generation”.
After retiring in 2019, he joined the club’s coaching staff as was part of the backroom team that helped the Rhinos win the Challenge Cup in 2020 and was interim Head Coach during the 2022 season before the arrival of Rohan Smith.
