It is Lunar New Year today, and our bishops have sent greetings and best wishes to all who are celebrating as we enter the Year of the Horse.
The bishops of the Diocese of Leeds stand in solidarity with Jewish communities in the diocese and beyond, following the attack in Sydney.
The Diocese of Leeds was pleased to welcome the Rt Revd John Msuma of the Diocese of Tarime in Tanzania for a visit recently.
The Rt Revd Malcolm Chamberlain was ordained and consecrated on Wednesday, June 11, the feast day of Barnabas, and will take up his role as Bishop of Wakefield shortly.
Malcolm Chamberlain will be welcomed to the Wakefield area as new bishop at a special service on Sunday, September 28 at Wakefield Cathedral.
