A youth community which has seen thousands of Bradford’s young people inspired and empowered is celebrating its 20th birthday.
This Volunteers Week, we are celebrating some of the important work done by amazing volunteers in our churches, and today we are looking at the great work done by volunteers to run children’s and youth ministry.
Parents of children with additional needs in the Leeds area have been getting together and helping one another as part of a support group being run by St Luke’s Holbeck.
One of our Huddersfield area parishes will be sharing the Easter story with families in an exciting way this Easter.
Building on last year’s success, the Diocesan Children, Young People and Families Team is hosting TEND 2025 events to celebrate and support everyone involved in this vital area of ministry.
Our Children, Young People and Families team were please to run an event with Engage Worship looking at how churches can worship all together using their whole space.
The Diocese of Leeds is pleased to be offering five grants of up to £250 to help those who work with children and young people attend the National Youth Ministry Weekend.
Real-life help from diocesan experts for parishes looking to grow their ministry with children, young people and families, has been summed up in a personal account by one of our churchwardens.
How churches can worship all together in God’s creation is the subject of an upcoming workshop hosted by our Children, Young People and Families Team.
How we continue to grow God’s Kingdom here in our region was the theme of the most recent Diocesan Synod, which took place on Saturday, June 15 in Leeds.
