Work to nurture and grow global Christian relationships through our network of Link Dioceses has been endorsed by Synod.
Our diocesan overseas links, our 2024 budget, our Barnabas work and more were all discussed at the most recent meeting of Diocesan Synod.
The great efforts of Lay-Canon Arthur Mauya in nurturing our diocesan link with the Anglican Church in the Mara Region of Tanzania for 27 years will be praised at an official “thank you” next month.
A recent celebration of a meaningful link between two sister parishes – one in the Calder Valley and one in Tanzania – was full of joy, prayer and personal reflections.
New resources to help our churches pray for Sudan have been shared with churches across the diocese.
As the crisis in Sudan continues, one of our Bradford area churches is holding a prayer vigil.
Christians in Sudan are fleeing the fighting as the imperfect ceasefire holds in Sudan.
A short service will be held at Bradford Cathedral on Tuesday, April 25 at 5:30pm to offer prayers to those caught up in the conflict that has erupted in Sudan over the last week.
Christians across our diocese are being urged to pray and fast for Sudan as the conflict continues.
