What we do
The Communications Team seeks to engage with parishioners, clergy and staff and share resources, skills and support offered by diocesan teams. The Team seeks to build confidence in worshippers in our parishes by sharing stories of vibrant, energetic work and achievements in many different settings across our diocese.
The Communications Team also provides media management and crisis advice for cathedrals, churches, parishes and schools (particularly regarding Safeguarding) and similarly supports diocesan teams with media advice.
Currently, along with the website, we produce:
E-news
Produced twice monthly and goes to over 5500 subscribers. Send your news to: enews@leeds.anglican.org
E-news+
Produced monthly, providing key information and announcements to clergy, lay leaders and parish officers.
Leeds Diocesan News
A monthly bulletin for parishes, available online as a PDF.

Media Advice
Our churches are full of good news stories and the Communications Officers can help you get positive media coverage, and give advice about working with the media when the story is not so good. They also offer training in all aspects of parish communications. Please get in touch with us at communications@leeds.anglican.org.
