Mark Naylor will serve as assistant curate in the benefice of Ravensthorpe and Thornhill Lees with Savile Town, Dewsbury. He has been training part-time for ordination at St Hild College, Mirfield, where he studied for a higher education certificate in Theology, Ministry and Mission. Mark will be a part-time, self-supporting minister, serving his curacy alongside his professional employment as a Chartered Librarian. Mark is married to Tseleng and together they enjoy traveling and taking holidays abroad. In his spare time Mark enjoys attending classical music concerts and organ recitals. Mark comes from the Anglo-Catholic tradition and seeks to enable others to encounter Christ though the rich depths of spirituality embedded in both the word and sacrament of the Mass. He has a heart for serving the local community and providing pastoral support and encouragement to others so that they might be enabled to see God at work in their lives.
