Volunteering Opportunity - Area Records Officers, Diocese of Leeds
Parish records are perhaps less obvious than church buildings and other treasures that have been inherited from the past. But we have a duty to ensure that they are preserved and available for future generations. The Diocese has a team of Records Officers who support the Archdeacons when they are preparing for their visitations, and who can offer advice to parishes about the preservation of their records. We are looking for volunteers to join our Diocesan Records Officers team to help us to do this.
