Wakefield Cathedral and Sheffield Cathedral are looking for a shared, 0.8FTE (28 hours per week) Safeguarding Support Officer to undertake effective administration and liaison about safeguarding practice in both cathedrals. This is a rare opportunity to make a real contribution to two organisations at the heart of their local communities which work with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Lay Training Officer - Diocese of Leeds
The Diocese of Leeds is seeking a passionate and creative Lay Training Officer to join our dedicated team, empowering lay ministry and lifelong discipleship across our diverse and vibrant communities. As part of the Diocesan Lay Training Team, you will play a key role in developing and delivering high-quality training pathways for lay ministers and disciples. You will manage and support volunteer tutors, contribute to innovative learning initiatives—including hybrid and online training—and work collaboratively within the wider Formation Team to encourage Christian confidence in our churches.
New Congregations Lead (Part Time) - Diocese of Leeds

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of mission and discipleship within the mixed ecology of the Church of England. As part of the Barnabas Programme Team, you’ll work with colleagues across mission, discipleship, and leadership development to ensure new congregations have the pathways, resources, and support they need to flourish.
Family and Youth Coordinator - St Peter's Shipley

We are seeking a reliable and motivated caretaker and cleaner, with a flexible and positive 'can-do' attitude and an excellent attention to detail. This role plays an important part in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for adults and children attending our church services and events, and for visitors attending classes and events taking place in our church buildings.
Hub Leader (part time) - Diocese of Leeds
We are seeking a Hub Leader (Fixed term for 3 years) to help equip and empower lay leaders, particularly in underserved communities, areas of deprivation, and among global majority heritage groups. The Hub Leader will create and lead a local hub of the Lay Leadership Development Programme within a specific area of the Diocese. Working closely with clergy, laity, volunteers, and the Barnabas Programme team, you will identify and recruit participants, deliver training, and ensure each individual receives the mentoring and support they need to grow in their missional leadership.
Choirmaster - St John's Bishop Monkton
We are looking for a new Choirmaster who is passionate about the role that music plays in worship and is motivated to develop, innovate, grow and inspire our choirs. Our Benefice is a friendly, welcoming group of churches near the lovely town of Ripon. Our churches are proud to offer worship within the central choral tradition of the Church of England as part of the Diocese of Leeds. We have a growing congregation of all ages, ably supported by enthusiastic members of the congregation. We are continuing to develop our outreach that will seek to develop and build upon the connections within the local community, particularly our church schools.
