World Book Day isn’t just for schools, as the parish of Kildwick, Cononley and Bradley found out this last week.
Various books about theology, prayer, vocation and more were available for parishioners to take for free from each of the three churches.
Books were also given to the CHUFFs (Church For Under Fives) group for the children to take away, and young people didn’t miss out either, receiving a bible appropriate to each of them.
The Revd Mike Green, vicar of the parish, said: “With World Book Day falling in Lent, we felt this initiative would help our parishioners to become closer to God, learning more about Him and His work in our world.”
