After pledging some £46,000 already, the Diocese of Leeds is pleased to announce the second round of our Diocesan Church Buildings Grant Scheme is open.
We are pleased to be offering new taster sessions of a course which will help people to become confident Christians.
The Diocese of Leeds is pleased to open up our small grants programme for new congregations, supporting new ventures to reach those not yet part of church.
Some 50 people representing all the Benefices and groups of churches across Wensley Deanery in the Ripon area came together recently for a day of encouragement linked to our Barnabas: Encouraging Confidence work.
Our diocesan overseas links, our 2024 budget, our Barnabas work and more were all discussed at the most recent meeting of Diocesan Synod.
Barnabas: Encouraging Confidence is a long-term programme, with much to come in the next weeks, months and years.
The Diocese of Leeds is keen to make sure that all have the chance to get involved in Barnabas: Encouraging Confidence.
As part of Barnabas: Encouraging Confidence, the Diocese of Leeds is pleased to be able to expand support offered to children, young people and families.
One of the priorities for Barnabas: Encouraging Confidence is supporting churches to identify their next steps in mission, and giving them the confidence to take them.
As part of Barnabas: Encouraging Confidence, the Diocese of Leeds has been awarded nearly £1 million by the Church of England for a new project: Every Good Work in Wakefield.
