Christian youth leaders at churches and charities across the Bradford area are being invited to come together to share experiences, receive support and pray together at a new breakfast event in Bradford city centre.
The event will bring together youth workers from a variety of churches and charities and is being held at the Prayer Platform, a new venue in Bradford City Centre on Floor 8 of Arndale House, Charles Street.
Steve Grasham, Children’s and Young People’s Adviser based in Bradford said, “We are not sure how this may evolve, but feel that there are possibilities for support and encouragement. Some of us may be new to the city and others may have been around long enough to remember that we used to do this ten years ago and found it helpful.”
He added, “Our hope is that as many of us as possible will meet on this day for an informal breakfast meeting. There will be no agenda, just an opportunity to share and pray together; and talk about whether meeting more regularly might be something we would value.”
The invitation to the gathering, on July 18th at 9.30am, has gone out through a wide variety or organisations and charities, and anyone who would like to go is invited to contact Sharon de Villiers (sharon@emergeonline.org.uk), Sam Kirkby (sam@hccbradford.org.uk), Ben Jones (ben@missionalgen.co.uk) or Steve Grasham (steve.grasham@westyorkshiredales.anglican.org).
