Priest in Charge - St Aidan's, Harehills

St Aidan’s is a happy, vibrant church, situated in the heart of inner-city Leeds.  We are looking for a priest to guide and serve us; who has experience of leading a busy parish, and the skills to build and develop warm and caring relationships: with those who worship in our beautiful church, as well as the many community partners who work with us.

The PCC would like our new parish priest to nurture our culturally diverse church, in discipleship, faith and numbers; to build further on our city-wide reputation and practice of welcome and inclusion; to celebrate and share the significant heritage of our church building; to develop our work with community partners and those who live and work in the Harehills community.

St Aidan’s is committed to being a worshipping, serving, sacrificing community, following the example of Jesus Christ. Our rich liturgy and worship is firmly within the catholic tradition, with parish mass at the heart of our worshipping life. We are proud of our ministry and mission to promote social justice, to feed the hungry and to welcome those most in need of support and compassion.  We hope this might be the parish to which you are called, to lead, guide and serve us.
