Interim Estates Church Planter for NE Bradford & Community Priest Thorpe Edge

We are seeking an enabling leader with a track record of church growth, both numerically and spiritually, who has a joyful and confident faith. We want to appoint someone who loves Jesus and loves people, who can work with the congregations to reimagine ministry in the light of new opportunities, grow the churches, develop confident discipleship, and sustain and develop engagement with the local communities


Assoc Leader of Fountains Church Bradford and PiC of St Margaret's Frizinghall

This is a joint role between the two churches as part of the Fountains Network, growing the links between the two in shared mission and ministry. The particular role sits at the heart of the strategy for the Diocese of Leeds and its outworking in the Bradford Episcopal Area. It is enabled by Strategic Development Funding from the Church Commissioners for church planting appropriate to Bradford.


Priest in Charge of Warley and Mount Pellon

The parishes of Warley and Mount Pellon lie to the west of Halifax, West Yorkshire. They are urban-edge communities, bordering the Calder Valley and the higher ground to the north-west, and have characteristics of village life despite being on the outskirts of a major town. These two parishes are coming together for the first time, in the hope that working together alongside a new priest will maximise opportunities to foster growth. There is commitment to build relationship, to reach out into the community with the love of God, to develop in discipleship and to nurture new believers.


Priest in Charge of Erringden Benefice and Associate Priest of Luddenden

We are looking for a priest who is committed to helping us to grow in numbers, in spiritual commitment to God and in service to the local community as we deepen and strengthen the relationships across, and between, these parishes. In return we will offer you our support, prayers and practical help from the people of our diverse congregations and parishes.


Incumbent of Almondbury & Farnley Tyas

The parish of Almondbury and Farnley Tyas lies just south of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, and comprises urban-edge and rural communities, on the higher ground bordering the Holme Valley. This is a well-established single parish including three churches; Almondbury All Hallows, St Michael & St Helen, and St Lucius, Farnley Tyas. There is a capable and committed PCC and a commitment to being the church in and for the community. The PCC look forward to welcoming a new incumbent with the wisdom, experience and maturity to bring a vision for the parish and each of its three churches, to engage in developing the life of the congregation, to be proactive and visible in the community, and to offer a nurturing and pastoral approach as part of a shared commitment to the ministry and mission of God’s Church here.


Vicar of St Mary's Riddlesden and St Luke's Morton

These two parishes form a significant joint benefice within the Bradford Episcopal Area of the Diocese of Leeds. In recent years there have been great developments in growing lay leadership, and making the joint benefice more of a reality. There are excellent relationships with the church schools in each village, as well as with ecumenical partners and local community organisations.


The Vicar of Airedale with Fryston

Holy Cross, Airedale with Fryston is a vibrant, single-church estates parish on the outskirts of Castleford. This warm-hearted church family is seeking a vicar who will work with them to continue to develop relationships with the local community, and to grow the church in love, discipleship and numbers.


Vicar of South Elmsall and North Elmsall

We are seeking a priest from the Catholic tradition (male or female) for this vibrant parish in the east of the Wakefield Episcopal Area.


Interim Vicar of St James Silsden

The single church parish of St James Silsden is located to the north west of Keighley and Bradford, bordering North Yorkshire. The small town of Silsden has a growing population through new housing developments but still retains a "village" feel.  This is an interim ministry appointment for an initial period of 3 years, which may then be made permanent or extended for a further period of interim ministry.


2025 Curacy Parishes Opportunities

We are pleased to have a number of curacy opportunities to offer across the Diocese of Leeds, for commencement in Summer 2025. Here in Leeds, we are committed to life-long learning of clergy and lay people. As such, curates can expect a programme of Initial Ministerial Education 2 (IME2) which focusses on equipping clergy with the knowledge and skills they will need for their ministerial life, but also seeks to inspire them towards further development throughout their ministry.
