A youth community which has seen thousands of Bradford’s young people inspired and empowered is celebrating its 20th birthday.
Some 60 people gathered at Fountains Church on Tuesday, June 10, to celebrate and give thanks for our Bradford Mission Apprentices and Diocesan Interns, celebrating all that God has done in and through them during the time they have been serving their churches.
Baptisms in the River Wharfe at Burnsall Park took place for 16 worshippers from St John’s, Bowling, during the recent sunny weather.
One of our Bradford primary schools in Bradford has been praised by Ofsted inspectors for being "at the very heart of its local community".
A new series of events will help people across the diocese find out more about their vocations.
One of our Bradford area parishes will be using the May Day Bank Holiday to go back to the 1940s and mark VE Day, as well as raise funds to support work on their church bells.
Bradford Cathedral have achieved their A Rocha Eco Church Gold Award, making them the fifth English Cathedral to achieve this prestigious award in England and Wales.
People training for ministry have the opportunity to spend two weeks learning and developing in the UK City of Culture 2025, thanks to a scheme running in the Bradford area of the Diocese of Leeds.
St Stephen’s West Bowling have been able to restore their stained glass windows, thanks in part to a grant from the diocese.
Bradford Cathedral have hosted the annual Bradford and District Legal Service, which also considered matters of racial justice, as it was held on Racial Justice Sunday.
