A TASTE OF TANZANIA FOR YOUNG PEOPLE FROM OUR CHURCHES...
Nine young people from churches across the diocese flew out to our link dioceses in Tanzania this weekend to experience their first taste of life in Africa and strengthen our links there.
The youth group will be led by the Vicar and Area Dean of Pontefract, the Revd Canon Bob Cooper and will spend ten days touring our link dioceses of Mara, Rorya and Tarime visiting a variety of different building and agricultural projects that the dioceses have grown and developed together over its 27 year link.
