Bishop-backed project appoints 14 new ambassadors for city

A high profile project to promote Bradford backed by Bishop Toby has announced that 14 new people have been chosen to act as Bradford Ambassadors for the 2019-20 year.
Believing in Bradford is backed by the Bishop of Bradford, and was set up in 2016 to bring together people from a wide variety of backgrounds and faiths across the Bradford district.
The new Ambassadors will start work with an introductory session on October 5, and will then represent the city and district at a variety of civic occasions and events, working with the Lord Mayor Cllr Doreen Lee, the Bishop Toby and Bradford Ambassadors from previous years.
The new ambassadors range in age from students to retired people but Believe in Bradford said "what they all have in common is a desire to show Bradford in its best light and to highlight the great things going on in our city and district".
Bishop Toby said: “I am delighted to see the enthusiasm that these people have for Bradford, and look forward to getting to know them as we work together for the good of our district.”
