Visitors to Bradford Cathedral are being invited to walk the Prayer Labyrinth which has been cut in to the grass in the gardens surrounding the Cathedral .
The Labyrinth, which follows a one way route in and out to the centre, represents the journey of life and offers a journey into your heart to meet with God.
The Labyrinth is an ancient aid to prayer and allows you to take time to pause, reflect and pray as you make the journey through it.
Canon Paul Maybury: “The Labyrinth is a tool to deepen and broaden your experience of prayer. It’s within the grounds of the Cathedral, which is designated as a place of peace and reflection. We invite and encourage you to take five- or ten-minutes out of your day to slow down, reflect and encounter God in new ways.
“There is a short leaflet, available from just inside the Cathedral, which gives a simple outline of how you might use the labyrinth.”
As well as being available for individual use, the Labyrinth is also offered for group sessions and for use by local churches, with Canon Paul available to support the prayer sessions.

Visitors to Bradford Cathedral can take part in the Prayer Labyrinth from now until at least the end of August.
