Bradford Cathedral launch new, accessible website

Bradford Cathedral, at the start of their centenary year, have launched a new and accessible website to help improve their presence in the city of Bradford.

"This is our Centenary year at the Cathedral and we are delighted that we have a new person dedicated to improving our communications and we are launching a new website to coincide with our celebrations, which we hope will provide people with accessible information," said the Very Revd Jerry Lepine, Dean of Bradford.

Through the website they can see the good things that we have on offer throughout the year and it's just one way of improving our presence and making ourselves better known. The Cathedral is for everyone, not just a select few, and the doors are open daily for everyone, so do come along and join with us."

Philip Lickley, Bradford Cathderal's recently appointed Communication, Marketing and Events Officer also said, "Following feedback on our previous website we have launched a new design for bradfordcathedral.org, covering everything we do as a Cathedral, from our acts of worship to our programme of events to mark our Centenary; the music programme to sections focusing on education and history; alongside support for visitors. We've also launched channels to showcase our videos and audio, as well as bringing more content to our social media pages on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

"But this refreshing of the site is only the beginning of the process and we will be adding more content throughout 2019 and further ahead. We also want to know what people like or don't like about the site so we can make it as accessible and useful as possible. We would love your feedback - please send it to us at commsandevents@bradfordcathedral.org."
