Bradford Cathedral with ‘Thinking Faith’ is organising a unique conference for Christians in business later this year. ‘Business and the Kingdom’ takes place on the Midland Hotel, Bradford on November 12th , the first time such a conference has been put on in Bradford.
Four experienced speakers have been lined up: Dr Richard Higginson is an international speaker on business ethics and the theology of work: Professor Carole Howorth is interim Dean at the Bradford University School of Management; the Venerable Andy Jolley, Archdeacon of Bradford, previously worked for Ford and PwC; and Mark McAllister is CEO of PA Resources and a Trustee of the London School of Theology.
The conference aims to enable people to put their faith into context within their place of work and gain a better understanding of how that faith works with regards to profit, power and relationships.
The cost is £50 for the day including lunch and refreshments with a limited number of reduced-fee tickets. Places can be booked at thinkfaith.net/events.
For further information, including details of reduced-fee tickets, please contact the Revd Cat Thatcher at Bradford Cathedral on 01274 777720 or email info@bradfordcathedral.org.
