Charlotte Bronte, a boat, and scarecrows will star in a celebration flower show to mark the 900th anniversary of St Peter's, Birstall.
The church flower arrangers are being bolstered by several local groups to create displays reflecting the life of the church past and present.

Vicar of Birstall, Revd Paul Knight, said he was thrilled that so many people have been willing to take part with the preparations of the displays which will include a boat, a wedding scene and scarecrows.
“The displays and the flowers are going to be amazing with a riot of colour. We’re looking forward to welcoming many people to look around," Revd Paul said.
There will be themed displays including St Peter, weddings, baptisms, funerals, worship, playgroup, luncheon club and John Nelson - the Methodist pioneer preacher.
Charlotte Bronte is also being featured as Birstall Church was featured in her novel, Shirley as Briarfield.
The church will be open for viewing from 10.30am on Saturday, July 13 and from 12pm on Sunday, July 14, closing at 4pm on both days.
Refreshments will be served during the opening hours.
