Come & encourage Leeds United to be a Living Wage Employer

Leeds Citizens* are calling for as many people as possible to join them in their Living Wage Action at Leeds United (29 April, 1-3pm).

They say, "Join us on Saturday for a fun, public action to encourage our local team to get accredited as a Living Wage employer next season. Other clubs including Chelsea, Everton, Luton Town and Hearts have done it, so why not the Whites?

"We're going to be speaking to fans and delivering a message to the club owners Massimo Cellino and Andrea Radrizzani. We need your help with turnout. Please share this invitation and let us know how many people you are bringing - contact Tom Chigbo.

Part of Citizens UK, Leeds Citizens organises communities to act together for power, social justice and the common good. Their current focus is on Mental Health, Living Wage and Opportunities for Young People.

Those involved from the Diocese of Leeds include: St George’s, Christ Church, Upper Armley, Church of the Epiphany, Gipton, Middleton parish & Leeds Church Institute.
Schools include: Abbey Grange Academy, David Young Community Academy, All Saint's Primary School, Manston St James Primary Academy & Rothwell Primary Academy.
