Dewsbury and Batley 'Vicars' are urgently searching for team mates to join them in the upcoming cricket match as they play against local imams again after last month’s football match.
Kumon Y’all, the community cohesion group, have organised the game for later this month after the success of the football match which earned a five minute slot on the BBC’s One Show.
Farook Yunus, who runs Kumon Y’all, says, “The aim is to show that people are different in looks and belief but can still be friends and enjoy each other’s company.”

The Rt Revd Tony Robinson, Bishop of Wakefield, will be joining the 'Vicar's' cricket team in the game on Saturday 19th September at 11am on the Sands Lane playing fields, Dewsbury.
It will be an 11-a-side match in which each player will bat for two overs and will bowl two overs.
Farook Yunus says, “We have made lots of friends in events like these and we build on these friendships afterwards.
“For example, we have in the next few weeks planned a litter pick up in Dewsbury Moor, Archery in Overthorpe, Thornhill, and a presentation in Staincliffe WMC on how communities should learn that we are all different and live with each other in peace and harmony.”
He explains, “It is very important to bring people together especially nowadays as people drift apart and don't mingle as much as they used to.
“Sport is very effective in bringing people together and we at Kumon Y'all will use whatever we can to create better understanding and peace between communities.”
Farook adds, “We have done football for three years now and already have a provisionally fixed date for next year’s event - July 16th.
“If things go well we might do cricket every year as well. Who knows the future!”
The event is free to watch and there will be plenty to keep spectators entertained as free refreshments (including tea and biscuits) will be served
There will be fun and games all day with a bouncy castle and balloons to keep the children entertained and possibly archery for the whole family to try.
