Make sure you grab your ‘Blue Suede Shoes’ for Elvis Presley’s special appearance at Dewsbury Minster next week!
Revd Andy Kelso will be bringing his Elvis tribute act to Dewsbury on 17th July for an evening full of Elvis classics and gospel songs beginning at 7:30pm.
His tribute act has been highly praised for offering an incredibly entertaining performance, earning him slots at events ranging from weddings and birthday parties to festivals and even an Austrian ski resort, seeing him perform to audiences of between 50 and 300 people.
Gaining increasing amounts of publicity, and even being shortlisted for Britain’s Got Talent in February, Rev Elvis has featured on BBC Radio singing both Elvis and gospel songs, using the power of music to share his spiritual experiences.
Chaplain to the Worcester Warriors Rugby Club, Revd Kelso also visited Belfast last year, walking the city’s Peaceline and later used his music to join members of both the Catholic and Protestant areas together through one of his performances in April.
Andy says, ‘I want everyone to have a great evening, enjoying the best of Elvis and hopefully dancing! I’m able to share a little of Elvis’ journey in and between songs and also share how some of his journey and mine were the same. It will definitely be a night to remember!’
Tickets are available from Dewsbury Minster (01924 457057) from only £2.50 each. Make sure you grab yours today so you're not 'All Shook Up' when they disappear!
