Christian leaders have taken part in an inter-faith Peace Vigil on the steps of Bradford’s City Hall to remember the victims of recent terrorist attacks including Lahore, Brussels, Ankara, Iraq and Glasgow.
The Dean of Bradford, Very Revd Jerry Lepine (pictured second from left) and the Archdeacon of Bradford, Ven Andy Jolley (pictured far left) joined with other faith leaders, community representatives and politicians including Labour MP for Bradford West, Naz Shah and the leader of Bradford Council, David Green.
Around 30-40 people gathered, candles were lit and there was a minute’s silence as victims of the atrocities were remembered. In a speech, Naz Shah MP spoke about the importance of our shared humanity.
