The sun shone last Saturday to welcome the crowds who came through Ripon Cathedral doors to celebrate the springtime show.
Over 1,000 visitors were treated to delicious local food producers, live gardening and cookery demonstrations, special photo opportunities with birds of prey from Thorp Perrow Arboretum, face painting and a fantastic selection of home and gardening products.
Stephanie Moon, Chef Consultant at Rudding Park and Simon Crannage Executive Head Chef at Swinton Park wowed audiences with live cooking in the Cathedral with tasters to sample.
Celebrity Gardener Martin Fish also offered his wealth of knowledge to visitors who had the opportunity to put questions to a leading expert.
Over £6,000 was raised at this debut event which will go towards Ripon Cathedral Renewed: Supporting the Dean’s development plans for a 21st Century Yorkshire Cathedral.
Many volunteers supported the show by donating plants and delicious cakes for the café as well as helping out.
The show was also supported by the Cathedral's Principal Business Partners CNG, Stratstone BMW and Mini.
Next year’s Food Home and Garden Show will be on Saturday 14 April 2018.
Don't miss it!
