Otley Parish Church is holding several events looking at forgiveness and prayer.
The Forgiveness Project
From 16-23 November (9am-5pm) the church is hosting an exhibition which explores forgiveness through real life stories.
And on Friday 18 November at 7.30pm there’ll be special event with Hanneke Coates (left) who spent over three years in a Japanese concentration camp. More here. For more information visit The Forgiveness Project

Showing of The Railway Man, Tuesday 22 November, 7.30pm (free admission)
A former British army officer and POW, discovers that the Japanese interpreter who tortured him is still alive. He sets out to confront the man who caused him so much pain. A story of grace and forgiveness when primal human impulse would seek retaliation.
Exploring Prayer Day
Saturday 26 November, 10am-3pm
A day to explore and encourage simple prayerfulness; learning to pray for where we live and beyond. Come and share and learn together in different ways through the day.
Special Guest Jane Holloway of World Prayer Centre, Birmingham, will share helfpul approaches to prayer she has experienced elsewhere. No charge and no registration required. Just come!
