Pupils at Holy Trinity Primary school in Ossett have been recording weekly programmes in their state of the art media centre.
The broadcasts then go out every Friday at noon over the internet –and include music, news, jokes and requests from pupils – and are even streamed across the school premises.
And this week they will be broadcasting live from Ossett Town Centre from 11am – 1pm.
Holy Trinity’s media coordinator, Nigel Williams said: “Our radio station brings a real buzz to the school. It’s great to see the children’s confidence and skills grow.”Teachers are also able to use the radio station for celebrating classwork.
