Hundreds of people poured through the doors of Ripon Cathedral on Saturday (April 14) for the Spring Food, Home & Garden Show.
More than 70 stalls filled the nave of the 12th century building, with a wide variety of gardening goods, locally produced food, craft stalls and homewares with many local businesses represented.
The Spring Fair raised £9,500 for Ripon Cathedral Renewed, supporting the Cathedral development plans.
Greeting visitors on the West Front of the Cathedral was a menagerie of animals from the Brimham Rocks Adventure Farm, including lambs, chicks, rabbits, a goat, an alpaca and a baby calf.
Children’s craft activities included candle making, and bee keeping craft activities.
It was standing room only for cooking demonstrations by Executive Chef at The Old Deanery Hotel Lee Rushforth (pictured) and Sue Nelson, founder of Yorkshire Food Finder. Gardening expert Doug Stewart demonstrated growing herbs and offered gardening advice throughout the day.
