Leeds community invited to admire sea of snowdrops

The current cold, winter weather is making many look forward to later months, when the diocese will spring back into life. One such place is St Mary's Church in Swillington who are inviting their local community to a Snowdrop Festival taking place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th February.

In the month of February, St Mary's Church experiences a beautiful, natural display of wild snowdrops that covers the land of the church. The congregation at St Mary's see this wild beauty as an opportunity to connect and invite members of the Swillington community to a weekend of events that will include various stalls and homemade refreshments. The White Rose Male Voice Praise Choir will also be performing and concluding the festival with a concert, starting at 3pm on Sunday 24th February.
