Leeds Council launches Leeds Compassionate City Awards 2017
As a city, we value the positive work that individuals, community groups and organisations do to make their local communities and our city a great place to live, work and visit. These contributions improve the lives of the people of Leeds and help us to deliver the vision for our city ‘to be the best city in the UK’: one that is compassionate with a strong economy and that tackles poverty and inequality.
In order to acknowledge, recognise and celebrate all the work of the city’s many unsung heroes, Leeds City Council will be hosting the first Compassionate City Awards on 7 December 2017.
