Leeds Minster\'s look at the Bible ends with Revelation

Leeds Minster’s look at every single book of the Bible will finish on Friday with the Book of Revelation.
The Reverend Canon Sam Corley, Vicar of Leeds, has been offering an overview of all the books of the Bible on the Leeds Minster Facebook page every evening since May 20.
Revd Sam said: “Having posted a few videos around Easter and having then walked through the Lord's Prayer, I thought it would be a fun challenge to do the same with all 66 Books of the Bible.
“I have enjoyed trying to condense the message of each book down into a few minutes and then finding an object that illustrates what I am trying to say.
“Well, I say enjoyed, there were a few times when I asked myself what I had started!
“There is no script and they were all recorded around the joys and demands of ministry and family life during lock down so some work better than others.
“But I hope they help people explore what can be a complex and intimidating read given the different kinds of literature in the scriptures and the fact that the books of the Bible as we have them are not in chronological order.
“It is a real encouragement to know that folk have found them helpful and I am delighted when people get in touch to say they think I have missed something important or should have illustrated my point with a different object - that is exactly the kind of learning and conversation I was hoping to provoke.”
