Lord\'s prayer and environment meet in series of talks

The Lord’s Prayer and caring for God’s creation will meet in a series of talks at St Mary’s Church Barnsley this Lent.
The talks are taking place on Wednesday evenings during the season, with the first being on March 4 and finishing on April 1.
Each will look at a part of the Lord’s Prayer, and how we can use the prayer as a guide for looking to care for our environment, which is the key message of the Church of England’s #LiveLent campaign.
Speakers include the Rt Revd Tony Robinson, Bishop of Wakefield; Jemima Parker, Diocesan Environment Officer (pictured, left); Ken Jefferson, Barnsley Baptist Minister; Connie Ashton, Barnsley Hospital Chaplain and Michael Faulkner from Christian Aid.
