Mapping the future of Leeds together

Come and find out what churches in Leeds are doing, connect to networks of prayer and mission and plan for the future at  the 'Mapping the Future Together' event in the city centre on Wednesday 30 November.

At the last 'Mapping the Future Together' event in May, representatives of Churches Together groups, Network Leeds and other cross-denominational initiatives came together to map ecumenical mission in the city, note what Churches Together groups are doing, connect to networks and seek strategies for the future.

One of the organisers said: “It was a powerful opportunity for sharing news of each other's events and for taking stock of the Christian life of the city. We ran out of sticky dots to put on our big map showing all the things that are going on!”

Up , In and Out

There will be feedback from the mapping exercise and we will collectively look at : What is happening that is "Up" (worship together), "In" (building relationships) and "Out" (mission and outreach)?

All Cross-city Christian initiatives and local Churches Together groups are invited to this meeting to build on our common strengths and address our weaknesses.

Wednesday, 30 November, 7.30pm at Leeds Church Institute, 20 New Market Street, Leeds LS1 6DG. (Tea and coffee from 7pm)
