Bradford Cathedral is to host a Music Day next month especially for children who are home educated.
The free event will take place on Tuesday June 9, and children aged seven to eleven will be able to find out about Bradford’s oldest building, take part in singing, and discover how to join the Cathedral choir as a chorister.
Organist and Director of Music at Bradford Cathedral, Alex Woodrow, has been preparing a range of music for a short vocal performance. The day runs from 10.30am to 4.30pm and also includes a short organ recital, and a tour of the Cathedral.
Booking is essential, and for more information contact Gillian Davis, Education and Visitors’ Officer on 01274 777720 or via gillian.davis@bradfordcathedral.org.
