On Sunday 22 January, St George's Crypt (the homeless charity based at St George's Church in the centre of Leeds) is holding a short service to mark National Homeless Sunday (2.45-3.30pm).
As well as contributions from Lighthouse (a fresh expression of church for those with multiple and complex needs), St George's Crypt and Unity in Poverty Action (UPA), there will be an update on the current situation regarding homelessness and emergency accommodation.
The service will last approximately 24 minutes and will finish with refreshments.
Through prayer and reflection, Homeless Sunday offers an opportunity to listen to what God has to say about homelessness and to consider what action we're being called to take. More on Homess Sunday here.
