An interfaith organisation bringing faith communities together to combat the climate crisis are running a series of online workshops for Leeds.
With the UK set to host critical UN climate talks in 2021, these workshops run by Faith for the Climate are designed to help faith communities to get skilled up and ready to take action against climate breakdown.
There will be three workshops in the series, with a choice of three skills workshops in the second week.
The first session will be a chance to hear from local leaders and connect with faith communities in the Leeds area to build relationships.
The second week will have three campaign skills sessions, looking at talking to people in power, effective campaign actions and bringing others alongside.
The third week will be a space to reflect on what has been learnt, and to hear about local and national campaigns, projects and initiatives to take part in.
The series starts in the week beginning 19 October and ends in the week beginning 2 November 2020.
