The national Church of England website has today published the blog of one of our ordinands, Lucy Savage, who is being ordained deacon at Wakefield Cathedral on 2 July.
Lucy explains how her own vocation was inspired when she was nine years old at the ordination service for her mother Jenny (right) at Bradford Cathedral. (Jenny is now Vicar of Steeton with Eastburn in the Bradford Episcopal Area). And Lucy describes how she's looking forward to the day with 'nervouscitement"!
After her ordination, Lucy will be serving in the parish of Ossett and Gawthorpe, between Wakefield and Dewsbury. Read her blog here.
She's part of #NewRevs - the Twitter hashtag that will be used during the ordination season - join in the conversation!
